I don't get to this side of town very often. Years of working in the horticulture industry I miss spending time in beautiful places such as this one. Finding herbs and unusual plants you can't find very often . Truly a joy seeing such a nice collection everytime I go, including the in between seasons. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially the sweet lady watering the herbs today and the cashier who checked me out. 🌻

This is a dangerous store if you love plants. They are incredibly large and have the widest selection of plants out of any of the nurseries I've tried in tucson. They are also open more regularly, and have botanists at the front to help answer questions or help you troubleshoot problems youre having. 20/10, one of my favorite stores. Only downside is they are a bit more pricy than something like home depot, but... sometimes you are getting what you pay for. Ive never had pests from any of their plants. Every one ive gotten is healthy and vibrant and has survived the move to my house (8 and counting). Also... you do vote with your wallet. I would rather give my money to a local nursery who cares than some faceless megacorp. Pictures: mother of pearl succulent and a burgundy caladium that I got from them a few months ago ❀️ the mother of pearl already has 4 little succulent daughters 😊

The plants look so very happy, there is so much variety, I always hear the staff eagerly helping others, and I really enjoy walking around. I don’t have a green thumb, but really look forward to coming here or recommending this place. I find it very well organized and appreciate the water offered to guests. The whole place is beautifully kept. It was sweet meeting Zulu.

Believe it or not it took me 2011- 2024. I never knew how to plant or mulch..Moving from Marco Island Florida to Tucson AZ, was a huge change. I got the beautiful Mountains in front of me and I didn’t care if it was πŸ₯΅ this is on the hill of Mount lemon. It was truly beautiful and the heat 😬was not fun.. sometimes if we are lucky πŸ€ there comes the snow.. 😁during my stay in Tucson I met some really amazing people. Noah was my inspiration to the planting more cacti 🌡( Peruvian Apple ) and taught me a lot about Different Palm trees, I owe that to him. The people at Mesquite Valley have been there for me,from the Horticulturist to the watering or care taker to the garden πŸͺ. They all have their own unique qualities to tend to the garden. I just want to say thank you to the owners son for helping me too. He is such a good guy. Thank you for your help. The statues you see are all from this place and many more.. Kaifer lime trees 🌲 are my favorite ❀️I planted 3 trees and it has thrived on the hills. If you haven’t been there yet please go and check it out. You will never regret or want to leave. So enjoy the wonderful pictures I am sharing for the first time.
